Ludo is a board game that originated in India. It is derived from an ancient Indian game called Pachisi. It is very similar to the Spanish game - ‘Parchis’ and the American game - ‘Parcheesi’.

Basic rules for playing Ludo:
. Each player has four tokens.
. The board is set up with each player's tokens on their respective starting spaces.
. Players take turns rolling a dice to determine how many spaces they can move their tokens.
. If a player rolls a six, they get an extra turn.
. Players can move their tokens clockwise around the board.
. If a player lands on a space occupied by one of their opponent's token, the opponent's token is sent back to the starting space.
. The first player to get all of their tokens to the centre of the board, known as "home," wins the game.
